About This Event

A Canadian all-star evening of chamber music featuring pianist Jon Kimura Parker, violinist Martin Beaver, and cellist Clive Greensmith. The Washington Post has raved: “absolutely top-notch music-making, as fine as one could ever expect to hear … they are poised to become one of the top piano trios in the world.” The trio will play Brahms’s Piano Trio No. 1 and will be joined by Barry Shiffman, Allyson McHardy, Erika Raum, Desmond Hoebig, Teng Li, and Sharon Wei to perform Tchaikovsky’s Souvenir de Florence and Brahms’s Alto Songs. The concert opens with the winners of The Glenn Gould School Chamber Competition.
